3 dead in highway shootings involving outlaw motorcycle gang members in Southeast Texas, authorities say
Three people were killed and another wounded Friday in shootings along Interstate 45 in two southeast Texas counties — incidents believed to involve outlaw motorcycle gangs, authorities said.
The incidents occurred in Montgomery and Walker counties north of Houston.
At 12:18 p.m. local time, Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, Walker County Sheriff’s Office and Huntsville Police responded to a report of a shooting at the 114 mile-marker of northbound I-45, Huntsville Police. said in a Facebook post.
Officers found three men suffering from gunshot wounds, and emergency medical services arrived and “began life-saving efforts,” police said. Two persons aged 43 and 69 were declared dead on the spot. An injured 61-year-old man was taken to Hermann Hospital in Houston, according to the Post.
“The three victims were male, all were riding motorcycles, and all were wearing clothing and insignia that indicated they were part of an outlaw motorcycle gang,” Huntsville police said, adding that the incident occurred in Montgomery County. And the shooting is related. ”

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said earlier in the day It responded to a shooting incident where one person died along I-45.
A 32-year-old man was shot along I-45 in Spring just after 11 a.m. Friday, and was later taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, the sheriff’s office said. The office said.
“The individuals involved are all believed to be affiliated with outlaw motorcycle gangs,” the agency said.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s spokesman Steven Squire said another person may have been shot in the jurisdiction with non-life-threatening injuries. told CNN affiliate KHOU.
