China: A massive fire broke out at a hospital in China’s national capital on Tuesday, killing 21 people. A fire broke out at a hospital admission building in Fengtai, Beijing at 12:56 pm (local time) on Tuesday, killing 21 people. As many as 71 patients were reportedly evacuated and evacuated.

A PTI report said, ‘Twenty-one people were killed in a fire at a hospital building in China’s national capital on Tuesday.

The report said the cause is currently under investigation.

11 people died in a separate fire incident

In a separate incident, 11 people died on Monday after a fire broke out at a factory in Jinhua City, Wui County, in China’s eastern Zhejiang Province, the local government said on Tuesday.

The fire broke out at 14:04 on Monday. Firefighters, police officers and emergency medical personnel rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call about the incident.

Rescue operations were carried out

After the fire was brought under control, two rounds of search and rescue operations were conducted until 4 a.m. on Tuesday and 11 bodies were found, China Daily reported.

The fire started in a plant where wooden doors are made, possibly from materials such as wooden doors, paint and packages. The announcement added that the persons responsible for the incident have been detained and further investigation is underway.
