Dalam commander among three Naxalites killed in encounter in Gadchiroli
In an encounter with the police, three Naxalites including a Dalam commander were killed Gadchiroli An official said on Sunday in the district of Maharashtra.

Talking to PTI MaharashtraSP of Gadchiroli. Neelotpal said, “Police received information that members of Perimili and Aheri Dalam of Naxalites were camping in a forested area between Mane Rajaram and Perimili armed post. After receiving a tip-off, two squads of Naxalites. Police’s C-60 The force was sent from Pranahita to conduct a search operation in the forest area.”
He said that during the search operation, the Naxalites opened fire on the police, after which the police retaliated.

“After the exchange of gunfire, the bodies of three male Naxalites along with weapons and other material have been recovered from the spot,” the SP added.
According to preliminary investigation, one of the deceased has been identified as Perimili Dalam commander Bitlu Madavi, while the other two have been identified as Perimili Dalam’s Vasu and Aheri Dalam’s Srikanth.
“Madhavi was the main culprit in the killing of student Sainath Narote on March 9 this year, as well as two incidents of setting fire to road construction equipment at Visamundi and Alenga which took place in February and March,” he said.
The officer said that the area is being searched.
