Delhi: Two stabbed to death, five injured following quarrel

Two people were stabbed to death and five others were injured due to a dispute in the West DelhiThe boy on Wednesday, the police said. He said that the police received a call about the incident around 1.30 pm.

The quarrel took place between two persons named Sonu and Abhishek, residents of Friends Enclave. the police said

Abhishek and his friends also stabbed Sonu and those who intervened in their fight. Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Harinder Singh said that later Abhishek was also caught and stabbed to death.

Police said that 7 people injured in the incident were taken to a nearby hospital, where Sonu and another person named Naveen were declared dead.

Abhishek and another person who sustained serious injuries have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital. The DCP said that the other three persons are stable and undergoing treatment at the hospital.

A case is being registered. The police said that the people involved in the incident work as laborers in a factory in Mundaka area.
