In London, Rahul Gandhi calls RSS `fascist`
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called the BJP “a wing of the fascist RSS which subverts the democracy it used to come to power”.
The Wayanad Member of Parliament made this comment late on Monday evening during a discussion at London-based think tank Chatham House.
“The total takeover of India’s institutions by the RSS has changed the nature of the country’s democratic contest,” he added.
Rahul Gandhi also alleged that the opposition is not allowed to discuss demonetisation, the Kisan Bill, implementation of GST and Chinese aggression.

Speaking about his Bharat Joko Yatra, the Congress leader said: “The Yatra was our communication gateway to reach the people of India.”
“The BJP has been blinded by the power it has recklessly enjoyed in the last nine years,” Rahul Gandhi said, adding that the saffron party was “not interested in listening to public opinion”.
He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi “comfortably uses agencies and spyware against the opposition – a stark contrast to the picture under our government”.
