Police said that a tanker carrying chemicals overturned near Kopra village in Ahmedpur tehsil of Maharashtra’s Latur district on Wednesday morning.
The driver of the tanker carrying hexamethylene from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam was injured in the incident which took place around 5 am.

Assistant Thanedar Bhausahib Khandare said that people have been prevented from entering the 200 meter radius around the vehicle as a precaution.
Fire brigade teams from Latur, Udgir and Ahmedpur reached the spot to clear the spilled chemical, officials said.
