Naomi Osaka: Tennis star announces she is pregnant
“The last few years have been interesting to say the least, but I think it’s the most challenging time in life that can be the most fun,” the four-time major champion wrote alongside the photo.

Osaka said she plans to return to tennis in 2024 for next year’s Australian Open, a tournament she has won on two previous occasions.
“I know I have a lot to look forward to in the future,” she added. “One thing I’m looking forward to is my child watching one of my matches and saying to someone, ‘That’s my mum’.”
The 25-year-old’s withdrawal from the upcoming Australian Open was announced by tournament organizers on Sunday.
Osaka has not played since the Torre Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo last September.
He took some time off from competitive tennis and made several high-profile revelations about his struggles with mental health following an incident in August 2021, where he was visibly stressed while addressing the media during a mandatory news conference at Roland Garros. And was emotional.
Osaka withdrew from the French Open later that year and revealed that she had suffered a “long bout of depression” after winning her first major championship in 2018.
“I don’t think there is a perfect path to follow in life but I always felt that if you move forward with good intentions you will eventually find your path,” Osaka said in her statement on Wednesday.
