Registration for the recruitment of firemen will be open till March 15, an official MaharashtraGondia said on Monday.
Gondia Collector Chinmay Gotmare addressed a press conference along with Director Army Recruitment Office (Nagpur) Colonel R Jagat Narayan and District Soldier Welfare Officer and Coordinator Army Recruitment (Nagpur) Major Dr. Shilpa Kharapkar.
Earlier, Army aspirants had to appear for the field test followed by the written test, but now, they will have to register for the Common Entrance Test, which will be online, followed by physical and medical tests.
“Registration for the recruitment drive will continue till March 15. Aspirants can register online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in,” said Col Narayan.

He said that the CEE will be held between April 17 and May 4 and after the screening the selected candidates will have to appear for the physical and medical test.
“To avoid touts, middlemen and bring maximum transparency, the process has been made online. The recruitment rally for selected candidates will be held here. Nagpur in July,” said Dr Kharapkar.
The physical and medical tests will be held at 17 centers across Maharashtra and two centers in Vidarbha i.e. Nagpur and Amravati.
