Three children were killed and two others injured in a home invasion in Texas on Friday, news reports say.
KTVT-TV reported that paramedics responded to a call at a home in Italy, Texas, around 4 p.m., and two people were airlifted to hospitals.
WFAA-TV reported that a woman was in custody after a stabbing at a home in Ellis County.
The station reported that the woman was a mother of five children, who were victims of the attack.

WFAA notified the Office of Child Protective Services to visit the home and reported the assault to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to an email from The Associated Press seeking additional information.
