Ishwak Singh And Jim Sarb gave us one of the most defining Indian shows of 2022 in Rocket Boys, which reintroduced us to the brilliance of Vikram Sarabhai and Homi J Bhabha. The team will return with the second season on March 16. Singh, who plays Sarabhai in the Soniliv offering, is well aware that a year is a time of rapid change, and credits director Abhay Pannu for shooting the second edition alongside the first. “Abhay had already prepared the master plan for both the seasons. It helped shoot a large portion of the second season alongside the first. The preparation was so good that when we went back to the sets almost a year later to complete the season, I did not experience any hiccups,” says the actor.

The upcoming installment traces the efforts of Bhabha, Sarabhai and APJ Abdul Kalam to make India a nuclear power in the 70s. Singh is happy that it furthers the simplicity of the show. “The characters are grown up, and ready to do big things. At the same time, it remains a rooted story,” he explains.
