Sister of Bengals star Joe Mixon denies running back was involved in incident that left juvenile injured

The sister of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon denied that her brother was involved in an incident in Ohio that injured a teenager Monday night.
Shelonda Mixon relayed the message to WLWT-TV as Anderson Township officers appeared to search the NFL star’s home after responding to a report of a shooting.

According to FOX 19, Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting call around 8:30 p.m. A juvenile was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Authorities put up crime scene tape around Mixon’s home, and an evidence marker was in the player’s yard, according to the station.
Deputies appeared early Tuesday morning to investigate the incident. The crime scene tape was taken down around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday and no arrests have been made.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. A representative for Mixon did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

An order dismissing the case in Hamilton County Municipal County Court said the city prosecutor’s office requested the dismissal “in the interest of justice.”
