‘The Daily Show’ reveals Chelsea Handler, Leslie Jones and John Leguizamo will guest host

The end of an era on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” is fast approaching, and the network has announced at least the first phase of plans going forward.

Following the imminent departure of longtime host Trevor Noah, the network shared this week that the comedy, including Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, DL Hagley, Leslie Jones, John Leguizamo, Hassan Minhaj, Kal Payne, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes and Marlon Wayans Legends will be included. host of the late-night show beginning Tuesday, January 17, as part of its “next chapter.”

Comedy Central added that “Daily Show” correspondents and contributors are also “set to host as more details are announced.”

“As we enter Trevor’s final week, we want to thank him for his many contributions,” said Chris McCarthy, president/CEO of Paramount Media Networks, according to the network statement.

“The Daily Show” airs weekdays at 11:00 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available the following morning on Paramount+.
