A Tribeca penthouse is on the market $150,000 a month — and that skyrocketing demand makes it the most expensive rental in the city, according to Street Easy Tells.

Five-bedroom, 4½-bath perch at 56 Leonard St.

That $150,000 monthly expense is just the baseline. A driver, a housekeeper, a chef and art rental can be added for an additional cost, notes Douglas Elliman listing broker Timothy Melzer.

The listing comes on the heels of a Central Park-adjacent duplex listing on Fasano Fifth Avenue for a cool $120,000 a month, which is among the most expensive available around town these days, as Jime Schalter recently reported. reported in

Across the East River, meanwhile, a number of expensive rental pads in Brooklyn have hit the market for record prices, though none of them are in this six-figure range.

Back in Tribeca, the price of this aerie is staggering. The home last asked for $88,000 per month in 2021 — significantly down from a staggering asking price of $256,000 per month in 2019, StreetEasy also shows. The reason behind the rollercoaster history is not clear.

Notably, the full-floor residence comes with two outdoor terraces and sweeping views of the city skyline, rivers and multiple bridges.

There’s also a double-sized living room, a chef’s kitchen, white oak floors, a wood-burning fireplace, a private roof deck and 14-foot ceilings.

The ultra-luxury unit is one of 10 full-floor penthouses in the 56-story, 821-foot-tall building, designed by Swiss architect firm Herzog & de Meurn. Past and present residents include musician Frank Ocean and actor Keegan-Michael Key.

Building amenities include a gym, a 75-foot infinity pool, a hot tub, two movie screening rooms and a children’s playroom.
