Why Hallandale Beach is becoming Florida’s buzziest city
Hollandley Beach had long sat in the shadow of its hustle and bustle, as had its H-named neighbor Hollywood — which, population-wise, is more than three times its size. Now, of the area more Dale (it, a non-castle) continues to remind us: it is no longer here to be had.

Luxurious bathrooms – enclosed showers with soaking tubs – and this is where you sleep.
The ears were knocked out!
A mini-city in itself, Slate’s sprawling campus has a kid’s playroom, a conference room and business center (if you need it), a dog park (you really need it), a golf simulator, a wine cellar, Includes an event space and a movie. The theater even has an electric car-charging station for — I’m going to round up and say six? – Prius owners in the state.
Healthy as a horse
Not everyone moving to South Florida is looking forward to being put out to pasture. Slate’s fitness center features a cardio room equipped with hydro rowers and Eklon cycling bikes, a strength-conditioning room with resistance machines and free weights; and a training room with Pilates reformer and chair, Echelon Reflect smart fitness mirror, Nexersys boxing trainer, boxing bag and TRX suspension system. If you know what any of these doohickeys are, it’s safe to say there won’t be a trip to the glue factory for you in the near future!
